Summary: It's a hot summer's end, and Gerard and Mikey find themselves writing a new storyline for the comic they co-write. As the story progresses, trouble begins in their own lives, until one day they see the one thing they thought they never would: their own characters, in the flesh.

Author's Notes: I will be the first to admit I have no idea how I pulled this off. That being said, the biggest thank you in the world goes out to restless_jedi. Without her, I would have had no decent, workable story idea. She looked over the drafts I sent every day, word-raced with me to get it done, and betaed it when it was finished (over the phone, which took a good four hours, at least, but it was worth it).
